Finding a dress can prove to be a difficult task for any bride-to-be, even those who have had wedding dreams since childhood. “I am not the best shopper,” Heather says with a laugh. “And I had no idea how to look ‘bridal’ without looking like I was wearing my Grandmother’s crochet.” Any fears of looking like a lace handkerchief were quickly put to rest during a visit to Kleinfeld Bridal. Here, Heather talks about her breathtaking Pronovias dress and bridal personals.

Part 2: Wedding Dress & Personals

With no clear idea of what to wear down the aisle, Heather enlisted the people whose opinion she trusted most for guidance. Everyone met for her appointment at Kleinfeld and Heather explained what she wanted and didn’t want to the stylist. After trying on about eight dresses, she had her “say yes to the dress” moment. Part 3: Ceremony & Chuppah

Anticipation grew as guests took their seats to witness Sara and Mitch’s nuptials. In just moments, the couple would meet under beautiful, floral adorned chuppah. Sara describes how The Foundry’s industrial aesthetic helped guide the backdrop’s design. “I wanted to juxtapose hard and soft elements with the chuppah by pairing a sturdy foundation with romantic flowers and lots of greenery.” Her vision translated into a dark wood structure embellished with a lush mixture of roses, dahlias, nigellas, Queen Anne’s lace, and wax flowers in shades of blush, red, and white. Seeded eucalyptus, salal greenery and ruscus added a natural touch to the display.
