Rachel Trimarco, Founder & CEO
Rachel planned and designed every detail of her own 300 person, Hampton wedding. After receiving several astronomical quotes from florists, Rachel knew that she could find a way to avoid paying premium prices for the elegant floral décor she envisioned. She found an incredibly talented floral designer with over 25 years of experience to execute her floral scheme and used her business skills to negotiate with distributors. She ended up with couture floral arrangements for a fraction of the price. After seeing her work and learning how little she paid, numerous friends and acquaintances requested her help in planning their own weddings. This gave Rachel the inspiration for a discounted, designer bridal flower boutique.
Rachel studied business management and communications at Cornell University. Her diverse career included financial sales, event planning and television production. After gaining experience in the corporate world, Rachel decided to pursue her true passion, interior and event design. She combined her business acumen, planning and production experience, and flair for design to start Bride & Blossom.
Flaminia Valente, Director of Events
Flaminia has a very eclectic background, her native country is Italy but she spent much of her childhood in Costa Rica with her family. Both of her parents contribute to her creative background with her father being an Architect and her mother an Interior Designer. She was raised surrounded by colorful tropical flowers and design which to this day has fed her inspiration to study Art and led her to cultivate a hobby in photography.
After returning to Italy in her young adulthood, Flaminia studied Art Direction at the European Institute of Design. Later, she worked as a freelance art director and traveled around Europe until she decided to finally settle in NYC. She has been working in the event industry as a sales and marketing rep and is thrilled to be working as the director of events for Bride and Blossom.
Lindsay Moro, Senior Designer
Lindsay has over six years of experience working in the floral & event industry designing for some of New York's most prestigious event companies and working along side some of the most renown and talented designers in the industry.
Lindsay's diverse experience includes wedding design, floral retail, visual merchandising, designing for corporate & private affairs, as well as floral home décor.
Lindsay brings a fresh outlook to Bride & Blossom and her unique creations are a true reflection of her passion for floral design as well as her natural instinct and talent for working with colors, texture, and composition. Lindsay is a graduate of Purchase College where she focused her studies on art and design.
