Courtney & Nathan Exchange Vows In An Intimate Ceremony
Despite having to push back her wedding date due to Covid-19, BB Featured Bride Courtney stayed true to her original vision. “I always knew I wanted a New York City wedding,” she says. “Classic and elegant with the men in tuxedos and a string quartet playing in the background. But I also wanted to incorporate modern and personal touches.” Here, Courtney shares all the details about her unforgettable ceremony at Tribeca 360°.
Part 3: Ceremony & Chuppah
Gathering for Courtney and Nathan’s wedding, guests were greeted with an atmosphere that encapsulated New York style in every sense of the phrase. “The room itself is beautiful, offering 360° views of the cityscape,” Courtney says. “Many of our friends and family attending were from out of town, some had never been to New York City before. I wanted these highlights to stand out, and for them to have the iconic downtown experience without distraction.” She elaborates on how the setting guided her choice of flowers. “I wanted the floral decor to be clean and simple with a lot of white and some greenery.”
A collective hush filled the room as the bride, escorted by her mother and father, took to the aisle. At this moment, Courtney’s stunning Monique Lhuillier dress and diaphanous veil were put on full display with pillar candles guiding her every step. A performance by Sterling Strings, a Brooklyn-based boutique music group known for their event sets that range from classical to contemporary Pop and Hip-Hop, added to the sophisticated ambiance all around. “They were amazing,” Courtney remembers.

Once Courtney met Nathan, it became clear that their story, which began as a hometown friendship and evolved into so much more, was meant to be. The couple joined under a captivating chuppah composed of birch branches adorned with white garden and spray roses, hydrangeas, and stock complemented by lush greenery of lemon leaf, Italian and Israeli ruscus, and silver dollar eucalyptus. Adding a feeling of intimate romance, the soft, organic florals looked breathtaking against the sleek, naturally lit interior.
Stay tuned next week for Part 4 when Courtney shares the final chapter in her Real BB Wedding story.
