Couples are going to great lengths these days to personalize their wedding in order to make sure that the celebration is one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. Bridal Beauty Tips for Every Skin Tone

When Rhianna launched her cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty, in 2017, she included forty shades of foundation (there are now fifty). This was unprecedented at the time – other leading makeup brands only offered half the amount. In just three years, Fenty Beauty has changed the game regarding what it means to be beauty inclusive, moving other cosmetic lines to vastly expand their selection to customers.

The impact that this movement has had on bridal beauty is apparent. Every woman, regardless if she is into makeup or not, wants to look (and feel) her best on her wedding. Most likely, you will be enlisting a beauty team, with the conversation about wedding makeup commencing well before the big day. It is important that your team understands your skin tone and which products are best for you. To help guide this discussion, we checked in with Megan Glenn, a beauty writer and rep for American Beauty School in New York City. Here, Megan shares essential bridal beauty tips for every skin tone.

“There is that family aspect – both my parents and I still live in parts of the building. We are at The Foundry every day and consider it our home.” For The Foundry’s Managing Director Allison Du Val, running one of New York City’s premier event venues is much more than just a job. She grew up in The Foundry, skipping through the building’s maze-like corridors and exploring its raw grounds daily. Over the next two decades, she watched the former metal foundry, which was also her home, transform into a captivating space for hosting weddings and exclusive parities. Never losing the awe and wonder that filled her imagination as a child, Allison deeply understands and cares about the history, character, and spirit of the building.

How you choose to wear your hair down the aisle is going to stay with you for the rest of your life – in wedding photos. For Marissa Molnar, however, a bride’s hairstyle goes much deeper than achieving that picture-perfect look. Imagine painting a monogram on a pair of Christian Louboutin heels as their owner stands overhead, nervously watching your every brushstroke. An undeniably stressful situation for even the most seasoned painter, this is all in a day’s work for Danielle Stern, Founder and Owner of Leftys Right Mind, a Luxury Creative Studio based in New York.

We’ve known Danielle for some time now, first interviewing her in 2016 when she was just starting out, mainly doing hand-calligraphy signage for local restaurants and boutique shops. Bride & Blossom worked with Danielle to create the floral décor for her unforgettable wedding at Cold Spring Country Club in 2017. One of the best things about doing weddings is fostering relationships with our brides that last long after the vows have been exchanged. Keeping in touch with Danielle, we have watched her flourish on both a personal and professional level.
