The Power of Flowers to Relieve Stress and Increase Productivity

With winter and the holidays fast approaching,  it’s easy to forget to take a moment to breathe and relieve stress trapped in the body.  If you find yourself looking for a simple way to reduce anxiety, give flowers a chance to brighten your perspective. Throughout the centuries, brides have worn flowers in their hair to symbolize youth, fertility, and the natural cycle of life.

Modern flower crowns are less about tradition and symbolism than they are about color-schemes and overall aesthetics. Floral wreaths work at any time of year, but with the vibrant Spring and Summer wedding seasons quickly approaching, we need even more inspiration to fuel our creativity here in the Bride & Blossom studio.

For this engagement session, she envisioned blush roses and shared an inspiration image from a gorgeous French wedding. Instead of standard roses, we suggested delicate, light-pink spray roses, and ethereal baby’s breath. Cool-toned, seeded eucalyptus complimented the intricate, ivory petals of tiny wildflowers, including poetically-named astrantia million stars…
