Courtney and Nathan went to the same high school together. “We weren’t high school sweethearts or anything,” Courtney says. It wasn’t until reconnecting after college in 2012 that they started dating. “We had known each other for what seemed like forever. Growing up in the same town as a person, there’s a sense that you share formative experiences and see the world in a similar way. I really felt this with Nathan,” she remembers.

We are excited to introduce Courtney, our BB Featured Bride for August. Courtney and Nathan married on an unforgettable day in June at Tribeca 360°. Here, she shares the first chapter in their Real BB Wedding story.

Yet, in the face of all this loss, a handful of restaurants somehow managed to launch and operate during the pandemic.

The establishment of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden over a century ago paralleled the modern development of New York City. As skyscrapers, paved streets, and bridges grew like weeds, it was nearly impossible to find a soft spread of grass or blooming flower garden. Not much has changed to the concrete jungle that has come to define the cityscape. And thankfully, not much has changed to Brooklyn Botanic Garden since opening in 1911. It continues to be a designated green public space where people can come and get lost in the mesmerizing splendor of nature. It is no wonder then that the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is an in-demand venue for couples planning their wedding in New York City.
