Hanging Florals Featured in Celebrations at The Plaza

By:

Plaza Celebrations 768 Bride & Blossom Pink Roses(1)

Hanging florals we created, for a very romantic wedding at The Plaza Hotel, are featured in the new issue of The Plaza’s magazine.

Here are two short videos that feature flowers from that same wedding (and some great music!). You’ll recognize the pink roses, suspended by strands of pearls, in the first video. In the second, watch our design team create glamorous, ombré-affect reception centerpieces.

Photos from Pomanders & Prosecco

Flower Class NYC 28

Here’s a look behind the scenes of our recent flower class, Pomanders & Prosecco. Expert floral stylist, Dieter, demonstrated the technique of crafting pomanders, using vibrant, fuchsia carnations. We love welcoming attendees into our new showroom, and seeing everyone’s enthusiasm as they learn how to use tools of the trade. Best of all, we just love meeting others who love flowers!

If you attended our flower class, please post your own photos on social media, tagged #brideandblossomnyc. We’ll repost and share. And if you use skills learned in class to create your own gorgeous floral arrangements at home, share those photos, too! If you haven’t come to class yet, why wait? Our next class, Contemporary Centerpieces, is coming up on September 9. Visit our Events page to check out all upcoming flower classes.

Flower Class Was a Blast!

By:

Our first flower class was amazing! Thank you to everyone who signed up. We loved meeting you all, and you blew us away with your talent and enthusiasm.

At the flower market, we chose lush white blooms and greens, for fresh, seasonal arrangements in a natural style. Consider buying several types of flowers, all in the same color, when you’re new to floral design. The tight palette means you can focus on getting a shape you like. Plus, it looks very chic. Guided by our floral stylists, everyone in class worked on their own creation to take home. We shared simple tips on how to choose and prepare blossoms, plus the kind of inside tricks that make all the difference!
