Manhattan Wedding in the Snow

NYC-winter-wedding-in-the-snow

New York City is so romantic in the snow! One of our designers captured this perfect winter-wedding moment outside Tribeca Rooftop in Manhattan this weekend. The photo took our breath away. Our bride in her fur shrug, the visible adoration and joy, and lush wedding flowers aglow in the snow… So much to love!

Romantic Floral Arch at The Liberty Warehouse

Liberty-Warehouse-Ceremony3

We created one of our most romantic floral arches for this wedding at The Liberty Warehouse on the Brooklyn waterfront. We loved designing all the floral decor for this stunning bride’s ceremony and celebration, but the arch that framed the couple’s vows, against a skyline view and sunset, is especially close to our hearts.

Beginning with a concept of a natural, garden-like structure with contemporary and romantic clusters of flowers, we constructed the arch with curly willow and wisteria branches. We first chose lush, decadent blush and cream roses, white spray spray roses and hydrangea, and blush stock. Dendrobium orchids trailed down the arch’s side, entwined with Italian and Israeli ruskus. Aisle decor was composed of clusters of the same flowers, all set in moss.

Wedding Flower Details From The Rachael Ray Show

Valentine's Wedding Flowers for Rachael Ray SHow

When we were invited to design wedding flowers for a segment on The Rachael Ray Show, we didn’t have much time. We also didn’t have input from the bride; the producers wanted to surprise her! We knew one thing: this bride deserved to have the best wedding flowers.

For a Valentine’s Day wedding, we couldn’t think of anything more classic and romantic than using shades of red and pink! Our collaborator, Genevieve Gorder, agreed the look should be lush and lovely and have a bit of modern twist.

To achieve this look, we couldn’t use just any old shade of red or pink… We carefully selected each color, making sure each shade complimented one another.

Fresh & Green at The Garrison

green-low-centerpieces-Garrison

Getting married at The Garrison, a gorgeous inn in the Hudson Highlands region of New York, means 360-degree views of the Hudson River, gorgeous natural light and crisp mountain air, all just an hour from New York City. This enchanting setting calls for fresh florals to weave nature’s beauty throughout the wedding ceremony and celebration.

One of our favorite ways to compose bouquets is to combine standard roses, garden roses and spray roses, in a subtle color palette, to add interest and depth. For this bridal bouquet, we began with classic, cream vendela roses. The groom’s boutonnière stayed simple with just a few white and cream blooms.
