An All White Affair

Our latest wedding took place at the Eventi Hotel in NYC! Eventi Hotel
Eventi is known for its cool spaces, just look at their welcoming lobby!

Bride Angela and Groom Matt opted for an all white affair wedding. Angela was the very sweetest! She looked gorgeous and radiant in her wedding gown.

The Bridesmaid’s Bouquet combined white roses and white mini calla lilies with a pretty black satin bow.

We created Angela & Matt’s custom made bird chuppah.

NY Weddings Bridal Show

Bride & Blossom just attended the New York Weddings Bridal Show, held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC! Our booth was near the wonderful ladies of Bride’s Head Revisited (http://bridesheadrevisited.net/). They are hosting an evening of cocktails and wedding ideas on April 16th, 2012 at De Berardinis Chelsea Salon (http://bridesheadrevisited.net/events).

The catering company, Creative Concepts NYC (http://www.creativeconceptsnyc.com/) was right next to our booth too! Ron Ben-Israel creates the most gorgeous and intricate wedding cakes ever! (http://www.weddingcakes.com/#/home/). Our main attraction for the evening rested on two reversible vases and consisted of purple and white hydrangeas, lavender roses, lavender and purple stock, and fuchsia phalaenopsis orchids and feathers. Chakra Wedding

Our first wedding in this new season takes place at Chakra Restaurant in Paramus, NJ. The staff was great to work with and the interior of the restaurant is pretty cool! Take a look at their website, http://www.chakrarestaurant.com/.

Here’s a sneak peak at some photos from the wedding:

The Bride’s bouquet is a gorgeous combination of white roses, a touch of blue hydrangeas, and white cymbidiums.

White roses and green cymbidiums create a lovely maid of honor bouquet.

This beautiful centerpiece is a silver box filled tightly with deep purple Carnations and white Cymbidium Orchid buds on top. In the center is a glass pedestal bowl filled with floating white Cymbidium Orchids and small candles. Read More

A November Wedding

Here’s a glimpse into a wedding we did back in November! Tiffany and Lawrence said “I do” in the beautiful Battery Gardens of NYC with the gorgeous color scheme of purple, lavender and orange. This was one of our sweetest couples, so easy to work with, and we definitely enjoyed the karate photos the groom preformed! The bride’s mother made us feel so welcomed by offering us food and even inviting us to the cocktail hour, which we declined because of our attire.

A special thank you to wedding photographer Steven Saldana for graciously sending us these lovely photos. Visit his site at: http://www.studiosaldana.com/ Read More

Cascade bouquets…Vintage or Contemporary?

Today’s brides generally opt for rounded, hand-tied bouquets and think of cascading bouquets as being vintage or old fashioned. We love the look of a well done, classy cascade bouquet. They can be simply stunning if made well. The only thing to be aware of is to make sure that this type of bouquet compliments your dress. If you’re wearing a ball gown don’t even think about it! Check out some of our own cascade bouquets along with a few others we found.
