New York Botanical Garden’s 2015 Orchid Show: Chandeliers starts Saturday.

A beautiful wedding venue and valuable education center, NYBG is one of New York City’s true treasures. The Orchid Show always fills us with wonder but this year, we are extra excited about the theme. Floral chandeliers are one of our favorite wedding-flower trends right now. Delicate, vibrant orchids, in all their exquisite variety, are a perfect type of flower to use in creating chandelier designs. We expect to be inspired!

Shake and Share Media booths feature flattering studio lighting, romantic, playful props for guests (we loved the glitter-heart antennas) and instant prints customized with your wedding date, names or a monogram. All photos are also instantly uploaded to an online gallery. Guests use social media kiosks to tag themselves and share on their own social media accounts.

Wedding Flower Details From The Rachael Ray Show

When we were invited to design wedding flowers for a segment on The Rachael Ray Show, we didn’t have much time. We also didn’t have input from the bride; the producers wanted to surprise her! We knew one thing: this bride deserved to have the best wedding flowers.

For a Valentine’s Day wedding, we couldn’t think of anything more classic and romantic than using shades of red and pink! Our collaborator, Genevieve Gorder, agreed the look should be lush and lovely and have a bit of modern twist.

To achieve this look, we couldn’t use just any old shade of red or pink… We carefully selected each color, making sure each shade complimented one another.
