Color has the power to transform a wedding, infusing florals with personality, emotion, and unforgettable style. Yet, incorporating bold hues doesn’t mean sacrificing elegance or timelessness. With the right balance of palette, placement, and texture, wedding flowers can make a striking statement while still feeling refined and classic. In this guide, we’ll explore thoughtful ways – brought to life in our Real BB Weddings – that embrace color fearlessly, creating floral designs that are both bold and beautifully enduring.

Use a Monochromatic Palette
If a combination of bold shades doesn’t fit your wedding vision, consider choosing one color family and explore its gradient – blush to magenta, pale peach to deep coral, or soft lavender to plum. The result feels cohesive, sophisticated, and romantic.

The candelabra has been lighting up tablescapes for centuries. Purely functional at the beginning, they transformed into ornate, gilded displays trimmed with flowers and fruit covering tables at lavish dinners and special events. Elegantly spectacular, it’s no wonder that couples today are still choosing to incorporate the candelabra centerpiece into their wedding reception decor.

What’s so attractive about the candelabra is the Old-World allure that it brings to wedding decor. It’s a distinctive aesthetic however and may not work if you lean toward a chicer and simpler look. The question then is can you still have the same sky-high luminosity at dinner, but without the baroque excess and frills? Looking back on our favorite wedding decor trends for 2024, we are happy to say that it’s absolutely possible. Read on for modern candelabra centerpieces ideas guaranteed to elevate your big day celebration.

While choosing your wedding flowers is exciting, seeing the examples flooding your Instagram feed and Pinterest can make the decision process feel overwhelming. With all the items still needed to tick off on your to-do list, you may be tempted to put off choosing floral decor. We get it. Picking vanilla lemon buttercream does feel like you are doing something, and a sense of satisfaction comes with putting a check mark next to ‘order cake.’

From both a logistical and creative standpoint, meeting with a florist earlier rather than later makes the experience of wedding planning as whole less stressful and intimidating. Flowers belong in the ‘important’ category right alongside finding a venue and wedding dress. When you knock out the ‘biggies,’ details such as signage, escort cards, favors, and signature cocktails become smaller pieces of a puzzle that fall into place. Read on for our break down of six reasons why you should prioritize selecting your big day blooms.

When Anna and Michael met at the end of 2020 during the pandemic, dating was anything but casual. “Life still wasn’t back to ‘normal,’” Anna remembers. “Because many places to socialize weren’t open, we immediately spent a lot of time together.” The situation was to Michael’s favor because he was on a waiting list to get a new puppy (It was Michael’s profile photo with his parents’ puppy that initially caught Anna’s attention). “I was really excited when it finally arrived,” she says. “Michael goes to work very early every day. I was working remotely so he asked me to stay over for a week to help.” Raising a puppy in New York City isn’t easy. “My patience was definitely tested. I threatened to go back home a couple of times,” she jokingly says. “That first week turned into me pretty much moving in and we have been inseparable ever since.”
