Unable to sit through another date eating pasta outside in the cold under a heated lamp, Rebecca did something she ordinarily wouldn’t do – she accepted an invitation to come to Kevin’s apartment so he could cook dinner for her. Taking a risk paid off. “My thoughts on love at first sight changed,” she remembers. “The man standing in the entryway was everything I hoped for and, up until that day, never found. Kevin had made lemon pasta, spiral potatoes, and bacon wrapped dates and I never looked back.”
