If we had to sum up the Real BB Weddings of 2025 in a single word, it would be surprise. What began as visions saved to Pinterest boards, Instagram folders, and iPhone notes blossomed into once-in-a-lifetime celebrations, blending luxury florals, thoughtful design, and intentional styling with deeply personal details to create singular, heartfelt experiences for newlyweds, guests, and vendors alike.

We were especially delighted to see timeless mainstays – white florals and lush greenery, candelabra décor, and classic black-tie aesthetics – reimagined in bold and unexpected ways. Nothing felt cookie-cutter or by the book. It’s never lost on us that we play a role in telling each couple’s love story, creating a floral backdrop for the first chapter of many still to come. Join us as we look back on these breathtaking moments from the Real BB Weddings of 2025.

Color has the power to transform a wedding, infusing florals with personality, emotion, and unforgettable style. Yet, incorporating bold hues doesn’t mean sacrificing elegance or timelessness. With the right balance of palette, placement, and texture, wedding flowers can make a striking statement while still feeling refined and classic. In this guide, we’ll explore thoughtful ways – brought to life in our Real BB Weddings – that embrace color fearlessly, creating floral designs that are both bold and beautifully enduring.

Use a Monochromatic Palette
If a combination of bold shades doesn’t fit your wedding vision, consider choosing one color family and explore its gradient – blush to magenta, pale peach to deep coral, or soft lavender to plum. The result feels cohesive, sophisticated, and romantic.

As wedding floral designers, what we are about to say may sound controversial – at first. We do support using fake flowers as decoration, but only as long as they are made of sugar. We would be in obvious denial to not recognize the artistry and allure of the sugar flowers topping wedding cakes specially made for our couples. These blooming confections are so lively, rich, and detailed, they fool even the most trained eye.

Stephanie and Ricky met in Fall 2010 when both were still teenagers. “It was at Ricky’s best friend’s birthday party at a Hibachi Restaurant. We started BBM (Blackberry messaging) that night and haven’t missed a day since,” Stephanie remembers about their instant connection. Twelve years later and now living together in downtown Manhattan, the couple was taking their daily walk through the neighborhood. Usually a calm scene, the gates of St. Vincent’s Triangle Park had been taking over by FDNY due to a fire in the nearby subway station. Despite Stephanie’s serious hesitation, Ricky insisted they continue walking through the area. Her tone quickly changed to one of surprise after realizing that a photographer was taking photos of them. On April 1, 2022, Ricky got down on one knee and proposed to Stephanie.

2024 was an amazing year for Real BB Weddings from start to finish. Looking back over the past twelve months, there are moments that defined the beauty, sentiment, and joy only felt when two people commit fully to each other. On each occasion, we were honored to help tell their love story, creating a floral backdrop for the first chapter of many to come. What’s so special about the weddings we are going to share is that while all beautiful and set within New York City’s most desirable venues, they are an authentic reflection of the couple’s singular bond, style, and personality. And from a floral designer’s standpoint, we saw artistic plays on classic white flowers, symbolic designs marrying different cultures and faiths, and decorative themes that captivated with contrast and surprise. Please join us as we relive unforgettable highlights from the Real BB Weddings of 2024.

Katie and Bryan met through an app in early 2021 during COVID when going on a ‘first date’ was proceeded with caution. After a sushi dinner, Kate invited Bryan over so they could continue talking. “At 6 am, after two bottles of cabernet sauvignon and 12 hours of nonstop conversation, we basically had to pry ourselves away from each other,” the bride remembers. The connection was immediate for the two Tauruses whose birthdays are two days apart. “Bryan and I are the same in so many ways,” she adds.” We are weird and silly, but also strong-willed and driven.”
