After Sammi and Steven’s picture-perfect ceremony overlooking Downtown Manhattan, guests were treated to cocktail hour, enjoying hors d’oeuvres alongside the newlywed’s signature drink, The Winston, named after their French bulldog. Then everyone headed to Tribeca Rooftop’s reception room for dinner followed by a glittering night of fun. Here, this month’s featured bride shares the final chapter in her Real BB Wedding Story.

When asked about the inspiration for her reception décor, Sammi said, “I knew I wanted everything to stand out from all of the weddings I had ever been to. The big question here is, “How ‘wild’ do you want to go?” Keep in mind, you don’t have to make a full commitment to the theme. Adding just few wildflowers to more ‘traditional’ wedding blossoms is all that is needed to bring a sense of lighthearted joy to your big day.

‘Colorful minimalism’ sounds like a contradiction of terms, especially when it comes to wedding style. We completely understand if you are most comfortable in a uniform of black, white, and if you are feeling a little adventurous, beige. Color, however, is tied to emotion. Actually, a dash of color, when applied thoughtfully and creatively, will complement your minimalist aesthetic, making it feel more special and expressive during this once-in-a-lifetime event. Let these ideas for adding color into your wedding help guide you in brightening up your big day.
