Two of our most romantic ceremony designs appear in Twirl New York’s new issue.
For an enchanting, Brooklyn waterfront wedding, an arch of wisteria and curly willow (#3) held decadent clusters of pink, cream and white flowers. Ruskus vines, entwined with dendrobium orchids trailed down the arch’s side to a moss base. Kris Rae’s beautiful photo captures the garden-like, natural concept of our design, as well as a moment of pure joy and love.
A rustic-branch chuppah (#5), adorned with the lushest, white hydrangea blossoms, framed a traditional Jewish ceremony at a decadent, Hudson-Valley wedding, photographed by Ryan Brenizer. Aisle Style is a must-see if you’re looking for wedding inspiration – so many gorgeous, creative ideas for walking down the isle of your dreams. Flower girls scattering petals from moss baskets captured hearts, in a wedding at The Liberty Warehouse, in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Flower girls never fail to charm us. Photographer Kris Rae captured the joy, pride (and shyness!) that go along with this important role.
Moss-covered baskets complemented the romantic-garden aisle decor we created with roses, hydrangea, spray roses, stock and seeded eucalyptus, set in moss. If you’re planning a similar wedding theme and you like this flower-girl idea, ask your wedding florist to recreate these petal baskets.
The Liberty Warehouse is one of our favorite Brooklyn wedding venues and, as you enjoy photos of this gorgeous wedding, you’ll see why that’s true. Sweeping waterfront city views, wide-open indoor and outdoor space and antique, industrial charm make this a truly special place.
Last week, we shared details of the romantic floral arch we created for this ceremony. The same lush garden theme was carried through all the florals.
For an organic, cascading bridal bouquet in classic white and cream, we used standard roses, garden roses and spray roses, dendrobium orchids, lisianthus and stephanotis.
Bridesmaids’ bouquets were composed of blush and cream roses with white freesia. Table centerpieces were classic and romantic, in the same delicate, feminine color palette of blush, white, cream and pale green. Low centerpieces featured exquisite phalaenopsis orchids. We added drama to the high centerpieces with cascading dendrobium orchids and amaranthus. Read More
We created one of our most romantic floral arches for this wedding at The Liberty Warehouse on the Brooklyn waterfront. We loved designing all the floral decor for this stunning bride’s ceremony and celebration, but the arch that framed the couple’s vows, against a skyline view and sunset, is especially close to our hearts.
Beginning with a concept of a natural, garden-like structure with contemporary and romantic clusters of flowers, we constructed the arch with curly willow and wisteria branches. We first chose lush, decadent blush and cream roses, white spray spray roses and hydrangea, and blush stock. Dendrobium orchids trailed down the arch’s side, entwined with Italian and Israeli ruskus. Aisle decor was composed of clusters of the same flowers, all set in moss. Read More
