Sweet Spring Wedding at the Harvard Club of New York

harvard-club-ny-newlyweds-uplift-photography

Kristy and Dave’s wedding brought lighthearted joy to the storied halls of the Harvard Club of New York. Opened in 1894, and on of the city’s first buildings to be officially designated a landmark, this is one of Manhattan’s most exclusive wedding venues.

For this spring wedding, beautiful bride Kristy wanted stylish, elegant wedding flowers that would be at home against the club’s traditional mahogany paneling, while also expressing the freshness of the season. A soft blush, cream and white color palette, featuring cherry blossoms, hit all the right notes.

We created a romantic, multi-dimensional bridal bouquet with budded and bloomed garden roses, blush anemones with black centers, and lisianthus. Bridesmaids carried simple, loosely-rounded bouquets of blush ranunculus and garden roses, accented with lisianthus.

Ethereal Wedding Captured by Elie Creative Moments

We are all so moved by this beautiful video by Elie Creative Moments, of a recent wedding we did at Gotham Hall. Bride Liya has a special place in our hearts and we loved bringing to life her vision of ethereal white wedding flowers. These talented wedding videographers captured Liya’s sweet spirit, the love that surrounded her during this magical celebration, and the beauty of the Manhattan venue. It brought tears to our eyes!

Chic Simplicity: a Wedding at Battery Gardens

Chic-simple-wedding-flowers

Katlyn and Phil’s wedding, at Manhattan’s Battery Gardens, was a study in chic minimalism. When we first spoke with this beautiful bride, she had a clear concept: simple elegance, with a black, white and champagne wedding-color scheme and all white wedding flowers. Her vision was well suited to Battery Gardens, a sophisticated Manhattan wedding venue with a stunning water view.

When we design classic wedding flowers within a monochromatic color scheme, we love the look of bouquets composed of similar types of wedding flowers. For Katlyn’s bridal bouquet we used standard roses combined with garden roses. Textural variation kept her classic white bouquet contemporary. Bridesmaids’ bouquets were composed simply of white mini calla lilies.

South Street Seaport Wedding on The Knot

The-knot-chris-leary-weddings

Today on The Knot, a wedding we did back in 2012. What a sweet surprise to see our beautiful bride, with her bouquet of champagne roses, white Eskimo roses, peonies and anemones, and to remember that stunning skyline wedding cake. Unfortunately, the downtown Manhattan wedding venue with that beautiful view, Bridgewaters, has since closed due to damage from Hurricane Sandy. Let’s look back on this South Street Seaport celebration as a reminder of resilience, that essential quality shared by every great city and every great marriage.

Quintessential Manhattan Wedding: Central Park & 21 Club

Central-Park_Bride-and-Flowergirl

A ceremony in snowy Central Park, followed by a sophisticated reception at the fabled 21 Club, made for a timeless Manhattan wedding, straight out of a classic movie. Landmark New York City venues add a sense of history and tradition which perfectly suited this beautiful bride’s tastes.

The bride envisioned classic, elegant flowers for her white winter wedding. We created her bridal bouquet with off-white garden roses and white phalaenopsis orchids, then wrapped the stems in satin ribbon and finished with a glamorous crystal brooch. Isn’t the above photo of the bride and her adorable flower-girl daughter with their bouquets just exquisite? The magical hush of Central Park in the snow was perfectly captured and you can see what a special moment this must have been. And our bride was a brave girl– that last day of January was one of the winter’s coldest days. She doesn’t even look like she noticed!

Went with Bride & Blossom based on other reviews on this website + looking at the flower examples on their company website. First met with Rachel about 2.5 months before my wedding and together we came up with the vision for how I wanted to have my flowers for the wedding. Those months leading to the wedding she was in constant communication with me, patiently adjusting my overall vision with any changes. Day of wedding everything arrived perfectly and on time, and I lost count how many times my guests came up to me to tell me how beautiful the flowers were. I would highly, highly recommend Bride & Blossom to all future brides. It was everything I was looking for: they understood my vision, they were quick to communicate, very patient and flexible, and ultimately delivered exactly what I wanted for my wedding. If both my mother and mother-in-law raved about the flowers, then I know I picked the right vendor. Thank you to Rachel & Team Bride & Blossom!

I just had my wedding at the New York Palace Hotel. I was referred to Bride & Blossom by a friend. Everything she said was true! Rachel and Elianna were knowledgeable, creative, attentive, and so easy to work with. They were always reachable when I had a question or thought and did an amazing job with the budget I provided. The flowers were gorgeous and the bouquet and arrangements were exactly as I pictured them. Couldn’t have asked for more!
