Melanie and Graig – Sophisticated Simplicity at Tribeca Rooftop

Melanie and Graig first met in October 2005, as they were leaving the bar PS450 in Kips Bay. Melanie gave Graig her business card before scurrying into a cab home with her friends.  They exchanged only occasional emails over the next ten years, even after discovering a mutual friend (a friend of Melanie’s and also Graig’s sister) suggested to them separately that they go out on a date – they never listened.  Finally, Graig’s sister approached Melanie at the friend’s wedding, exclaiming, Can you just go out with my brother already? to which Melanie replied with, Go tell him I say hi!  So at last, a decade after making one another’s acquaintance, Greg got Melanie’s number and asked her out on a date!  After that it was as if they had known each other forever…or 10 years!
