In planning her own wedding, Bride & Blossom Featured Bride Aerin made sure that every element was personal and full of meaning. This week, Aerin spoke to us about finding her perfect wedding gown and how she incorporated family heirlooms into her wedding day.

Many brides-to-be approach the topic of wedding dresses with apprehension, knowing that the process can take weeks, even months in some cases. When asked about her experience, Aerin said, “ I was enjoying planning for my wedding so much that when it came time to find a dress, I was beyond ecstatic.” Early in her search, she came across a Pronovias dress in a bridal magazine. “My heart was set on it,” she recalls.” With fingers crossed, Aerin made an appointment with the designer’s flagship store in Manhattan to try the dress on in person. She remembers that special moment of looking in the mirror, “The dress fit effortlessly and I felt like it was meant to be.” Made of crepe and tulle fabric, the breathtaking Pronovias design features exquisite gemstone embellishment along the back trailed by a sweeping skirt.
