My job is to make sure this doesn’t happen.” Before starting his company Stillwell Events, Jeff Stillwell’s invaluable training was obtained by being the Director at some of New York City’s most luxurious venues. So when her mother made an appointment at Kleinfeld, her goal was to walk out having said ‘yes to the dress’. “I knew there would be so many gorgeous dresses that I could love,” recalls Lorenza. “I narrowed down one dress on Kleinfeld’s website before going in.” At her appointment, she was presented with three dresses including the dress she found online. Lorenza looks back and says with a laugh, “Sure enough, when I tried on that dress, I knew it was “the one. I was undoubtedly Kleinfeld’s fastest sale.”

In a time when casual dating via social apps is like a sport, Lorenza wanted something with more substance. Looking back, she says, “It was the busiest time of my professional career. I was a producer at CNN covering the 2016 election. Despite my busy work-life, I knew I was ready to meet someone special.” So upon the suggestion of a colleague, she joined, with some apprehension, the paid dating website, Match.com.
