Like many, BB Featured Bride Nailah used Instagram to begin her search for a wedding dress. Unlike many, Nailah had to face the challenge of looking for the most important item of clothing she would ever wear just as most of the world was entering lockdown because of Covid-19. This meant bridal shops would be closing, restricting availability for appointments and fittings. An afternoon of trying on bridal looks with best friends on hand to offer support and honest feedback would never happen. Part 2: Dress, Bouquet, & Shoes

The process of finding a dress was still full of surprises for Dayna. She recalls, “I started pinning dresses right after we became engaged. I’m a shopping addict but trying on wedding dresses was a totally different experience.” Her mother came in from Boston to help and they devoted an entire weekend to the endeavor. The day before her official appointments, they did a trial run, stopping into one store to try on a few looks. “I recommend this to everyone – it was so helpful to see how the different styles looked and felt.”
