Peony Tulips: Our New Favorite Spring Wedding Flower

Tulip-peonies

We have fallen in love with peony tulips! Also known as double tulips, or double-bloom tulips, these lush spring flowers are perfect for bridal bouquets. Peonies have always been a Bride & Blossom favorite. Gorgeous peony tulips combine everything we adore about peonies – velvety petals, sumptuous blossoms and subtle nuance of color – with tulips’ crisp spring freshness and joy.

Monika took the above shot of pink peony tulips in the studio last weekend. Soon we’ll share how those lovely blooms became wedding flowers. Until then, enjoy these peony tulips and “double-tulip” bouquets.

Can “Cloud-Seeding” Guarantee Perfect Wedding Weather?

Glen-Cove-Mansion-Wedding

When planning your wedding, of course you don’t want to leave any details to chance. Maybe now that is really possible. One company claims they can guarantee beautiful wedding weather with technology.

From Discover:

London luxury travel company Oliver’s Travels is guaranteeing couples a sunny day for their nuptials courtesy of their Cloud Bursting service. The company will “pop” clouds prior to your big day through a process more commonly known as cloud seeding. The service, which costs about $150,000 and is currently only offered in France, promises to clear up cloudy skies with a little help from atmospheric science.

The perfect blue-sky wedding weather above was a natural occurence at Glen Cove Mansion in Long Island, New York.

Designing Our New Manhattan Showroom

showroom-mood-board

As soon we saw this space, we knew it was the one! Located right across the street from Bloomingdales, in one of Manhattan’s best shopping districts, we are just blocks from some of New York City’s best wedding venues, including The Plaza Hotel, St. Regis New York and Central Park.

It’s a dream come true to design a space that reflects our aesthetic of beauty. We want to welcome our brides and invite them to relax. To make our vision a reality, we started by making a mood board. Basic elements were clear from the start: a color palette of grays and mauve, with crystal accents, modern, open shelving for display, and lush, textured seating.

Ring Cam Captures the Moment You Say Yes

Possibly the world’s most romantic hidden camera, Ring Cam is an ingenious little gadget, built to capture one very special moment. When he pops the question and opens this engagement-ring box, the embedded video camera captures her face, right at the moment that she realizes what is happening, and… sees her ring!
