Guests were buzzing after Cara and Vince’s exchanged vows. Not only had they just witnessed a beautiful ceremony, but their happy hour menu included a strongly caffeinated drink selection. “Vince is Italian and takes his coffee very seriously. He hired Top Hat Espresso to serve an array of coffee and gelato,” the bride says. “Everyone was really happy. Reception, Centerpieces, and Entertainment
After enjoying cocktails and coffee, guests gathered into the reception space where they were greeted with a breathtaking scene. Trimmed with twinkling lights, the clear top tent gave way to the dark sky above, underscoring the enchanted atmosphere all around. The tablescape featured various centerpieces. Simple yet sophisticated, the first style was composed of white Phalaenopsis orchids illuminated by stemmed glass candles. “The orchid centerpieces were my favorite,” Cara remarks. “They made the tables pop with such elegance.” The second style was composed of an exquisite trio of cluster arrangements showcasing burgundy ascot and baccara roses and cream majolica spray roses. Cara, who is Irish and grew up Irish dancing, made the table signs, paying homage to her and Vincent’s family heritages. “Blending the two countries, the tables were named after our favorite places, some we have traveled to and some we hope to visit, in Ireland and Italy.”
