Fanta and Darwin Wedding – Bride and Groom Bouquet – Stonebridge Country Club – Belluci Films
In the age of dating apps, it’s rare to hear about a love story that blossomed from a grade school crush. Darwin caught Fanta’s eye on the first day of their freshman year of high school. “I surveyed the room of my history class for a seat and noted this boy in the back laughing and talking with his peers. He seemed like someone I would enjoy hanging out with,” Fanta remembers. Over the next couple of years, they kept with the same circle of friends, watched each other’s sports events, and even went on a few dates. “However, it wasn’t until senior year when a friend suggested we dress up as twins for senior ‘twin day’ that we really started to hit it off and break the ice,” Fanta says. “I started to learn more about Darwin’s beliefs, his wittiness, and love for weird hats – he even made me wear a matching one on twin day!’” Just a few months before graduation, Darwin finally asked Fanta to be his girlfriend. They were both accepted to the same college program and the rest is history. Read More
Dayna and Matthew Wedding – Bride and Groom Kissing Bouquet Moongate Flower Arch – Gurney’s Montauk – Andreas and Nico
When Dayna and Matthew first met at the go-to-Friday-night bar in their senior year of college, sparks flew right away. “I wasn’t looking for anything serious though. Hilary & Brad Wedding – Reception Low Centerpiece – Plaza Hotel – Hechler Photographers
Given Hilary’s taste for glitz and glamour, it comes as no surprise that she celebrated saying “I Do” with a reception comparable to the fabulous parties F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote about in The Great Gatsby. There was luxurious décor, sparklers, pulsating music, and a showstopping 5-tier wedding cake. Here, the bride talks about the final chapter in her Real BB Wedding story.
Part 4: Reception, Centerpieces, and Sweetheart Table
After a preliminary round of toasts during cocktail hour, guests found their seats via a captivating escort card table and made their way to the Plaza’s ballroom. There, the vibrant pink color scheme gave way to white and gold. “Brad wanted an all white ballroom, which I thought was a nice idea to keep everything romantic,” Hilary says. “The Plaza is marked by gold ornamentation on the ceilings and walls. There was something so beautiful and elegant about having clean white.” Read More
Kate & Alex were married this past June at a marvelous ceremony in Battery Gardens. The couple met at work, when Alex interviewed Kate for her first “real job.” They worked together for years before getting together and falling in love. Alex popped the question on a romantic vacation in Croatia. “I was completely surprised,” says Kate, “Though apparently no one else was!”

The most recent flower class at the Bride & Blossom showroom on the Upper East Side was one of our most successful yet — we are always so happy to see the beautiful creations made by our students at the end of the night! The spring fling theme carried through their designs in the form of bright tulips, lush greenery and delicate pastel accents.
Sharing our passion for the art of floral design is one of the best aspects of being a part of the team at Bride & Blossom, and we cherish these nights when we have the opportunity to come together with the community and teach them to make something beautiful. Read More
Bride Cheryl Fradin and groom Adam Caviezel have one of those old-school New York City love stories that most people will tell you is the stuff of fiction.
“Adam and I met at a mutual friend’s birthday party at Houston Hall. He caught my eye, and we started talking. He got right to the point and asked me if I had a boyfriend. When I said no, he asked if I was at the party with anyone. Adam took me out dancing when the party was over, and we both felt an instant connection. Five weeks later we were in love and inseparable, one year after that we were engaged, and one year after that we were preparing to walk down the aisle! Every day we thank our lucky stars that we walked into each other’s lives.”
