A ceremony in snowy Central Park, followed by a sophisticated reception at the fabled 21 Club, made for a timeless Manhattan wedding, straight out of a classic movie. Landmark New York City venues add a sense of history and tradition which perfectly suited this beautiful bride’s tastes.
The bride envisioned classic, elegant flowers for her white winter wedding. We created her bridal bouquet with off-white garden roses and white phalaenopsis orchids, then wrapped the stems in satin ribbon and finished with a glamorous crystal brooch. Isn’t the above photo of the bride and her adorable flower-girl daughter with their bouquets just exquisite? The magical hush of Central Park in the snow was perfectly captured and you can see what a special moment this must have been. And our bride was a brave girl– that last day of January was one of the winter’s coldest days. She doesn’t even look like she noticed! Read More
A beautiful wedding venue and valuable education center, NYBG is one of New York City’s true treasures. The Orchid Show always fills us with wonder but this year, we are extra excited about the theme. Floral chandeliers are one of our favorite wedding-flower trends right now. Delicate, vibrant orchids, in all their exquisite variety, are a perfect type of flower to use in creating chandelier designs. We expect to be inspired!
If you live in the New York City area, don’t miss this event. And meanwhile, take a look at one of our NYBG weddings: Picture Perfect.

Cultivate a rarified air with luxury fashion, beauty treasures and exquisite accessories, inspired by the most mystical flower. Orchids always make an impact. These delicate hothouse blooms are sought after by brides for the exotic beauty and sense of grandeur they bring to arrangements and bouquets. When Pantone named Radiant Orchid the color of 2014, designers, florists and decorators embraced the bright, flattering hue. This fall, orchids appear in deeper and softer shades. Pack dark, feminine floral prints, sculptural adornments and a seductive new fragrance for a romantic city weekend away. You’ll be radiant.
This was a very special weekend for the Bridal Flower Divas team! We did one of my best friends weddings and another gorgeous wedding in Long Beach. The highlights were stunning orchid arrangements using blue water to complement the beach setting. We also built a beautiful chuppah draped with orchids, crystals and branches with lots of help from my handy husband.
