“We’ve been to so many weddings, but never one on a Manhattan rooftop. After taking in the views, we couldn’t see us getting married without the NYC skyline in the background. When asked to describe her style, BB Featured Bride Joye takes a moment and then answers, “Modern chic with a touch of romanticism.” Having a sense of what she wanted to wear at her wedding, Joye extended her research to designers she hadn’t heard of before. She came across Pallas Collective, a luxury label based in Australia. “I loved their designs,” the bride says, “But didn’t think they were available in the US. Soon after however, I found out they were having a trunk show in NYC and made an appointment.”

Joye and Scott ran in the same circle of friends during college, but they didn’t start dating until after graduation. “I finally caved and let him take me out,” Joye says with a laugh. They clicked immediately and soon realized their connection went far deeper than anything they had experienced during those casual get-togethers at school. “I can honestly say that I wanted Scott in my life for the long-haul from the beginning. He really wasn’t the type to be in a steady relationship. In fact, I was his first serious girlfriend, so I knew that he had the same feelings.”
