Getting to this point took over a decade of work building a luxury floral and décor company in New York City, partnering with vendors, and cultivating client relationships. In addition to a commitment to providing services that meet the highest professional standards, our philosophy has always been about finding a balance that is focused on staying present while setting goals and being open to new opportunities. This mindset guides Bride & Blossom’s Florida expansion, and we are excited for the path ahead of us.
To give you a full picture of how Bride & Blossom arrived at this moment and our plans for the future, we decided to sit down with our Founder Rachel Santana. Here, Rachel shares all the must-know information about Bride & Blossom Naples.
Can you provide our readers with all the details about Bride & Blossom Naples? What services will you provide there? What types of events will you do? What will Bride & Blossom offer to clients that sets it apart from the rest of the luxury event florists in the area?
In many ways, Florida is a natural extension of New York City that spans back decades. In recent years, we have seen an influx of New Yorkers to Florida, especially to the areas on the west coast where towns such as Naples and Sarasota have become popular. Each place offers breathtaking views over the Gulf waters, a serene coastal vibe, and several stunning venues ranging from exclusive beach fronts to charming old-world hidden gems.
For the past few years, I have been thinking about expanding Bride & Blossom’s services and design expertise. Naples ticked all the boxes for being a perfect market to focus our attention. We’ve had the opportunity to decorate for weddings and events at premium venues in and around New York City ranging from grand hotels, historic clubs, and private chateaux to chic, modern lofts. Drawing from this depth of experience, we will provide all aspects of custom floral design, styling, and décor to the western Florida coast. We’ll be based in Naples but will also service the Marco Island and Bonita Springs areas.
What motivated your decision to launch a Bride & Blossom location in Naples? Why were you drawn to the area? What about the area inspires you as a floral designer & businesswoman? What do you hope to see Bride & Blossom do and accomplish as an independent business servicing the Naples area?
My family relocated to Florida in the middle of the pandemic. Since then, I have been splitting by time between Florida and NYC for work. The beach has always been my happy place and Naples is an exceptional beach town. Between the natural beauty and elevated, yet laid-back style, it’s one of the most enchanting places to visit. As a floral designer, I find inspiration is everywhere. I saw a real opportunity for Bride & Blossom – Naples is a perfect fit for our brand, expertise, and services. Blending New York sophistication with Southern Coastal allure, Bride & Blossom aims to establish itself as a sought-after luxury floral and décor company amongst luxury event vendors, venues, and clients in the area. There are also many women-owned businesses in Naples – I’m looking forward to becoming a part of the community, building relationships, and seeing how we can further support each other.
When will Bride & Blossom officially launch its Florida location?
We officially launched at the beginning of fall – Bride & Blossom Naples is currently up and running. New York is at the height of wedding season right now – the last month has been a whirlwind and I’m loving every minute of it!
How is the expansion going? Would you like to share any updates and plans for the upcoming months?
We’ve been fortunate to connect with some amazing (and helpful!) people in the event industry down here. We are focused on networking with the top venues in Naples and reaching out to planners to offer our services and see if there are opportunities to work together. We are especially excited about the roster of cool new venues set to open in the area over the next few years. Each venue is so unique from the next – they will provide the perfect setting and atmosphere no matter what type of celebration you envision. Needless to say, we can’t wait to decorate them!
Naples is such a gorgeous and magical place – seeing all the interest it’s getting tells me that I am making the right choice bringing my business here. Like in NYC, we are specializing in weddings while also catering to social events such as corporate galas, charity dinners, birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, etc. I look forward to seeing Bride & Blossom forge new partnerships and becoming a contributing business to Naples’ dynamic community.
