Kate & Chase Celebrate Saying “I Do” With a Romantic, Fun-filled Reception

 

After exchanging hilltop vows at Natirar Mansion, Kate and Chase welcomed guests to a breathtaking reception where décor expressed the couple’s romantic side. The warm and festive atmosphere combined with a fantastic performance from the couple’s wedding band had everyone partying well into the night. In today’s post, we present the final chapter in Kate and Chase’s Real B&B Wedding story.

Part 4: Reception, Centerpieces, Sweetheart Table

Kate and Chase’s picture perfect ceremony was followed by a celebratory cocktail hour. Guests mingled, enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks while the Highline Quartet played music, putting a classical twist on modern hits. Afterward, everyone headed to the reception in Natirar Mansion’s Grand Ballroom where they were greeted by an enchanted scene.

 

 

 

 

Tables were decorated with lush, natural centerpieces featuring roses, ranunculus, dahlias, hellebore, heather, veronica, jasmine, and astilbe in shades of burgundy, blush, and white. Greenery elements included eucalyptus, dusty miller, and ruscus. The couple expressed their deep connection to nature by accenting the arrangements with pheasant feathers. “Chase loves to hunt and I love being outdoors. The feathers put a unique, personal touch on the floral décor,” Kate said. Clear and vintage rose votives illuminated the display, adding a warm and intimate ambiance to the tablescape.

 

 

 

 

As guests took their seats, Kate and Chase took their place at the sweetheart table. Their fairytale romance was honored with a breathtaking candlelit setting of eucalyptus garland embellished with gorgeous blooms. The couple’s chairs were decorated with lovely greenery and flower accents. “Everyone complimented on the décor and said the flowers were the most beautiful they had ever seen,” recalls the bride.

 

 

 

 

When it came time to choose the music, the couple knew that the typical wedding reception soundtrack wouldn’t do. “We did a lot of things ourselves. As we were looking for wedding bands, we found The Loyales,” Kate said. “They were amazing! We wanted a nice balance between our favorite songs and jukebox classics… 60s and 70s doo-wop. Everyone had so much fun!”

 

 

 

We asked Kate if she had any favorite moments from her wedding day. “There are too many to list! I’ll forever remember seeing Chase for the first time. And receiving his gift and wedding day letter brought me to tears.” What was Chase’s wedding day gift? He had a painting made from a photograph that he had taken of Kate. So sweet!

 

 

The bride continues, “We really enjoyed the donuts that our chef made especially for us. And of course, it felt amazing to be surrounded by the people we love most.”
