Bride & Blossom is excited to announce our new blog series “Florist’s Fifteen” where we ask influencers in the wedding industry fifteen questions. It’s a fun way to get to know these movers and shakers a little more as they reveal everything from what inspires them and how their dream wedding cake looks to what they wanted to be growing up!
We are inaugurating the series with Laura Lambert of Fenton & Co., a new online luxury boutique that sells custom designed engagement rings at an affordable price. Laura is part of a dynamic and experienced founding team that has worked for leading luxury brands including De Beers and Cartier. She describes how they are working to make the wedding jewelry marketplace more agreeable for the buyer. “Our aim in creating Fenton & Co. is to provide a product that is high quality, responsibly produced and transparently priced. We want to create a modern and inclusive luxury brand to combat the current gap in the market between fair pricing and a great experience.” Read More
Cornell Business Review featured an interview with our founder and CEO, Rachel Trimarco, this month. Rachel speaks about the importance of web-based marketing and how the floral design and wedding industries have changed in the past few years.
Social media has really revolutionized the wedding planning industry and the floral industry as well because my brides share images. We get tagged, photographers tag us, we tag photographers. We have everything in our Instagram and Pinterest feed… The whole industry changed about three years into me starting my business which was right at the time when I was ready to start taking it to the next level.
A big thank you to Be Inspired PR for featuring us as a Favorite Find!
Leila, Ashley and all the ladies at BIPR bring so much sparkling enthusiasm to all they do. They are the ones behind Tassels & Tastemakers events. Check out their blog and follow them on social media for great ideas and the best vendor recommendations.
We have an exciting opportunity and we ask for your help to make it happen! If we get 250 votes, we qualify for a $100,000 grant from Chase Mission Main Street Grants. Created to help small businesses like ours take the next step, this grant would let us reach more brides, hold more classes at our showroom, and to move forward with some (very exciting!) plans that we’ve been working on behind the scenes. Your vote means so much to us, and it only takes a moment! Thank you so much for supporting the Bride & Blossom mission!
Bride & Blossom just attended the New York Weddings Bridal Show, held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC! Our booth was near the wonderful ladies of Bride’s Head Revisited (http://bridesheadrevisited.net/). They are hosting an evening of cocktails and wedding ideas on April 16th, 2012 at De Berardinis Chelsea Salon (http://bridesheadrevisited.net/events).
The catering company, Creative Concepts NYC (http://www.creativeconceptsnyc.com/) was right next to our booth too! Ron Ben-Israel creates the most gorgeous and intricate wedding cakes ever! (http://www.weddingcakes.com/#/home/). Our main attraction for the evening rested on two reversible vases and consisted of purple and white hydrangeas, lavender roses, lavender and purple stock, and fuchsia phalaenopsis orchids and feathers.Read More
